Training and workshops

Lifelong learning has never been easier—a compass for reducing complexity, knowing what is essential and how content should be presented can be invaluable here. Training courses and workshops are also characterized by a conscious emphasis on three key areas—information, orientation, and experience—and draw on insights from learning pedagogy. How are these incorporated? Through learning objectives, conscious selection of methods for the respective target group, often a lot of interaction, peer learning, and flexible engagement with participants.

From small working meetings to conferences with several hundred participants – tailor-made, externally moderated training courses lead to better results in a short time.  I moderate seminar participants, panels with experts from politics, research, or business, young people, work meetings, advisory board meetings, cross-departmental evaluation meetings, and association meetings....

Thanks to many years of experience in political education and twenty years of designing workshops and training courses both in Germany and internationally, I can offer you tailor-made services on a wide range of topics.

It is particularly important to me that everyone has an equal opportunity to speak and contribute, and that questions are answered thoroughly and comprehensively.

Training: Getting to know (and maybe even love...?) the working styles of my team members

This training course covers various learning and working styles based on a scientifically recognized method from the USA, which originally drew attention to the diverse learning styles of schoolchildren and is now used primarily in the USA, Scandinavia, and Australia in management, consulting, and organizational consulting. Participants assess themselves and engage in intensive discussion about their experiences with different working styles in order to ultimately arrive at a positive approach to dealing with them, e.g., how the team can consciously utilize these styles.

The method can be used for team building, as a training exercise, and as a conflict management tool. It is ideal for preparing for any kind of conflict resolution, resolving difficult issues, and making them discussable.
Peer learning and interaction are central to making the learning experience effective.

Learning objectives:

  • Participants are aware of different working styles and their functions.
  • Participants know their own preferred learning and working styles and those of their team members, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each.
  • Participants find it more easy to respect the needs associated with working styles and to use the styles in a differentiated and coordinated manner.
